The 85 kit would be my choice. That season was the true start to our success throughout the 80s and 90s.

The 10 year anniversary since the final game in on Saturday. I was going to something to mark it but not had the time or energy.

Just rebumping this so it doesn't disappear.

Too many memories to mention

Still havn't !!!!!!!!

Sittin on the wall when I was too short to see the game & when I did get tall enough I used to bend my knees when the stewards came to measure me & crying on the last ever game against Saints.... Stayed for ages after the final whistle!!

I've just spent over an hour reading every post on every page, and am not ashamed to say that I have shed a few tears.



I've laughed and cried.



It just brings back so many memories of friends and family, sadly some of them no longer with us.

Central Park was a very special place, and I can understand just how many Saints fans are feeling now with the closure of Knowsley Road.

my first and only visit to the famous old ground was the last ever match. a day i will never forget despite only being 5 at the time. remember getting a piece of the turf which is still planted in my grandad's back garden today and i must say its the greenest piece of grass in there

Getting in free via St.Marys Church.



Seeing a lad sat on the high wall getting hit with the ball and falling about 12ft down the other side, not nice.



Climbing over the wall at night and playing rugby on the pitch with an imaginary ball (influeneced by Pulse at 99p a bottle from chicks)



Climbing up the flood lights and then getting scared when the wind picked up a bit.



Pinching ketchup from the burger vans - again at night.



Finding human remains at the side of the ground - this was later reported in the WEP.
