| Quote The Clan="The Clan"The pitch looks great and as of 9:15pm Saturday the weather is dry and the forecast favourable.
I know some of you will just say "yeah, Yeah" but =#FF0000Trinity's new stadium is odds on to be built and this will be one of the last times that Wigan will visit Belle View.
Now I know some will cheer at that news but when alls said & done Belle View is one of the last surviving original grounds, many greats from both clubs have graced the pitch and there's been some titanic games in the 135 years that Belle View has served Trinity.
Like Central Park it will be a sad time when the club moves on!'"
.........its alright we're not the RFL and its not franchise year yet....your spouting it too early. I guarentee you we'll be going to belle view for another 3 years yet (and more if the RFL buy the 'stadium in the post' rubbish again). I mean come on youve not even got any pretty pictures done of your so called stadium yet and you recon its one of the last times we will visit!!!
Wakey will still be at belle view in 2015.....I could almost guarentee it.

Thank god for that. I've had the pleasure of experiencing many rugby league grounds on top of many football stadiums from right across the divisions (well over 100 grounds) and Belle Vue, Wakefield is by far the worst of all of them. Awful, awful ground.

Personally I love the place and will be gutted to see it go, but i can understand why people dont like it, what has to be complimented about the place is the pitch, said it many times before but in my opinion there is no better surface in Rugby League than that of Belle Vue.

| I love traditional Rugby League grounds such as Knowsley Road, Headingley and Odsal.
But Belle Bue and Wheldon Road have no atmosphere about them. They are small, lifeless grounds regardless of the history and legends that may have graced the pitch.

I think a lot of the lifelessness comes from it seldom being a big game to either team when we play at Cas or Wakey. I'm sure it has a lot of life when they play each other.
