I think a decent offloader is something our squad lacks in the forwards. Providing he throws them at the right time it should add another dimension to our play, especially with excellent broken play runners like Sam and Tommy on the end of them.

It's OK, he's been on the Saints forum and I don't think he's the sharpest tool in the box.

I expect him to be blooded to begin match fitness for the rest of season. Saying that, there will be a cracking home reception for him, especially when he scores.

i expect him to put 100% effort in to every min he plays. He did something stupid and although he could of got another deal at other clubs Wigan stood by him and he owes the club and especially the fans a lot.

I'm expecting an all or nothing performance from him. There's never been a middle ground before in any of Gareth's games. He'll either be on song or way off it. I just can't imagine him playing and not in someway having a big influence on how the game pans out, good or bad.

Theres a massive difference between playing in the halves and playing in the back row. Finch had to come in and organise things for the rest of the team and it obviously didnt work, Hock has to come in and do his own job without really worrying about what everyone else is doing.



Also Finch was coming back from a serious career threatening injury into a league he has never played before. Hock has spent two years filled with regret and determination to get back out there again and make up for his mistake, I dont think Hock and Finch's situation should be compared at all.

I agree with this Finch was coming back from injury into a new team new league new set up and was coming into a playmakers role where an enormous amount of expectation was on his shoulders. Hock is not coming back from injury, he knows the team knows the players knows he will be expected to do the hard work up front both in attack and defence.



I expect a solid game from him off the bench with not too much fancy offloading, he will get better and better as games go on and come the GF he will be a potent attacking weapon up front.

Well it is the best place to start and work your way up.
