Too easy to blame him. He got caught out by the same altered interpretation that's seen 30+ penalties in a game and then a high tackle when the player had ducked towards his midriff.
We should have scored much more than 16 points in that game and our lack of creativity was just as important a factor as our poor discipline. We struggle without Deacon, or at least when we rely on Leuluai to create, just like the home playoff game against Leeds. |

Yep the officials never seem to notice Saints forward pass trys. The clowns off SKY don't see them either. |

You don't expect 'Saint Stevo' to call it do you? As for the officials.....well for the last few years I've said what are the roles of the touch judges, apart from get involved in the odd fracas? (which they get wrong more often than right) |

I was more surprised when it was Clarkey and Carney saying the "drop-out" decision was wrong, whilst Stevo pointed out that because Wellens didn't GROUND the ball in the field of play the decision was correct.
Somehow, I'd have expected it to be the opposite way round. |

Got back at 2am buzzing from the day.
Could freely go in and out of the ground had good banter in the local pubs with all other fans , some really nice eye candy handing leaflets out side the city bar,
Which other sport could get away with this?
Only sad thing was a few wire fans causing a bit of trouble but nowt to major
Totally smitten by the day, in a proper rugby stadium
