My understanding is that both samples are taken at the same time? One is tested and the other sample stored. If the test is positive or inconclusive on the first sample the second sample is then tested? The results of the second sample where then due on the 30th June.
It would not make sense to take a sample on the 5th June, it then comes back positive and you have your second sample 25 days later, if this is the case then I think you can virtually guarentee that the second sample will be negative. |
