I'm curious of people’s thoughts and expectations on the returning Hock? Personally I just hope for a solid performance without picking up any knocks.

He’s been out of the game for two years, I expect him to have moderate impact as he firstly has to familiarise himself with the speed of the game and the impact.

I think anything more would be asking too much.



I think he'll need several performances to find the form we expect from him.

I'm joking of course. I'm still not 100% convinced he will play to be honest, I don't see MM as somebody who would be drawn in by the media hype and will only play him if its right. I don't think Tuson will get a ban, a fine maybe for a first offence but thats it. We still have Farrell available even if Tuson is banned anyway. That said I do hope he does play as a straight replacement for Tuson, as has been mentioned on here Tuson only played about 20mins last week and I'm sure Hock could live with that. If he does play I wouldn't expect him to be barnstorming, he will go all guns blazing which may lead to a penalty or handling error or two but a player of his calibre is bound to have some impact.

Fitness maybe an issue, regardless of all the intense training its not the same as a full speed high impact match.

MM dropped Finch into the deepend against Wire, and I don't think it really paid off at the time.

I expect his entrance from the bench. I would hope by now he has got into the spirit of the Madge regime, were I coaching him I would ban him from throwing the offloads till he is up to speed and ask him to do the basics.



Having said that I expect some very strong carries from him off the bench.

I agree with this. If there was a weakness in his game it was not know when the offload is on. Hopefully being under better coaching his overall game has developed.

I expect him to take the rest of the season to get up to speed
