I'm not happy. I wrote those comments before the Salford game. If we had won (which we should have) we may have kicked on, got a few wins, maybe played some good rugby and everyone would have been a bit happier.



Now I'm not so sure.



What I am particularly annoyed about is that in the last three years a pattern has emerged where in the first half of the season we win half (or just over half) of our games and look set for the play offs. Then in the second half we collapse and win just a handful of games and finish outside the play offs.

Is this in any way linked to Howell's training injury which I still find inexplicable.

Personally i would love Rae back here, highly doubt he'll come back. He wasn't the best coach, but he got players like Hill here, he also just generally recruited players that were experienced and were vocal, something we need right now.

What a load of Boll*x. There are RL league coaches all over the place. McDermott came to us from a No2 position. I can think of 13 other No2's in SL for starters. They say fatty Anderson at Hudds is very good.



Then there are coaches in Australia.



If Quins RL put a worldwide advert out for a First team RL coach I suspect there would be 40 plus applicants and within that probably 10 real quality coaches.

Thats surprising to hear. I thought our team togetherness made up for some of the players limited individual ability.

I'm sure Rooster Booster could name No.2s in Oz who'd like the chance to make a name for themselves by taking a head coach job over here - plus the added attraction of being in London. Have to admit that after reading about yesterday I'm moving into the 'out' camp, and I'm not a great believer in geting rid of coaches.

And what if what has happened at Catalans happens to us?

Its a big risk.

But we're nowhere near where they were when they brought Walters in. Much less of a gamble.
