HISTORY should and will not be a decision maker for any club, rugby league is a professional sport and not based on pure sentiments, no one likes to see any club refused a licence, but that is the case, there was never so many Crocodile Tears over Widnes and the Chairman and his Board took the decision and worked dammed hard to ensure they were ready again this time.

Agree....I have no issue with any team. But Wakefield have had that 150 years to build money and develop a stadium capable of keeping up to date.

Our team offerred little in attack or defence. Think we missed Danny Ward and we certainly could do with Jase Golden back to make some of these tackles.

I'd also be surprised if Gale gets away with that shot on Blaymire, particularly when his response to being put on report was to do the same thing again a few seconds later.

If I understand the judiciary correctly, neither Gale nor Clubb have got called in, Gale has a caution, Clubb, sin bin sufficient.

Yes I think that is right and 'Glenn Morrison was cautioned for contact with a Match Official' whatever that means, presumably not asking for his phone number

No thanks - it was bad enough being there without having to watch it again!

Body language was a real problem last year, the team just accepted they were gonna get beat after 10 minutes.



Wakefield don't have the greatest playing roster but at least they go into every game with pride and will beat teams that don't turn up.



Kear will always instill that pride in the players, to me Rob Powell doesn't seem to be able to gee them up in the same way, or maybe there is still a poor mentality hangover from 2010 where defeat was just accepted with frail confidence at the end of the Brian Mac era.



Time for Rob Powell to prove he is more than a student of the game and cajole a bit of spirit out of his players.

Looks like a good lead into Easter then. If this continues I can't see Powell lasting the course. If the players have deserted him, it will not be long. Shame he seems to be going from hero to zero in a record breaking time. Maybe time to get Nobby as director of rugby, then again Salford seem to be a little short of coaches.
