| Quote poplar panther="poplar panther"I agree if any new speccies turn up and see a flogging we are worse then we were before!
What has happened to Randall and Howell? Over the last three years these have been our best players and now are a minus factor. The fine defence early in the season has evaporated and we are looking nailed on for the bottom four. It is no good scoring five or six tries if you opponents score seven or eight! We had a rookie coach and against an old fox in Norris Cole, and boy did it show. Hopefully, we have seen the last of Belle Vue our bogey ground par Excellency.'"
How very kind of you, perhaps every club that has 150 years of history and a team containing 13 young British players should fall on their sword to allow you to actually achieve something! You are the cuckoo in the nest not us.
Now I'm sure you didn't mean it to sound that bad but please think on, Trinity's only failing is having a sub standard ground but at least it's ours for as long as we want it. Everything else we do is OK and as you know we are not the first RL club in the SL era to see the administrator before moving on are we.
I have no issue with you as a club but I do with the fact that you enjoy a protected status that year after year you do little to deserve annoys in the extreme.
If life was fair and judging by the way you are playing, you know that old fashioned thing that used to decide these things you would be facing us again next year - in NL1.

RP "I think there'll be one or two in and one or two out for next week."
The axe will fall, not being at the game I couldn't say who deserves it, but we are not beset by injuries and we do have numbers in the camp, if not the star names, but that didn't seem to hurt the cast-offs that Wakefield have picked up and molded into a team that can hit 50.

| What the last month has told us is that we are heading for another basement bottom season. You can't leak nine tries on average a game (as we have for the last 4 games) and expect anything different. We need to employ a defensive coach ASAP and sort out where Randall should play. There are more questions than solutions. Mr Powell will earn his corn if manages to pull out of this nosedive.

You may well have one or two out when the RFL have looked at some of the high shots dished out, Ganson would have issued 2 red cards today.
Best of luck for the rest of the season.

| Positives: It was sunny and traffic was pretty clear up and down
Negatives: Embarrassing, totally and utterly useless bunch of wasters. Some of these blokes are stealing money pretending to be professionals, whilst Williams continues to pretend he is a rugby league player. Out thought and out muscled in every aspect of the game, they even let us get within 10 to make a game of it.

| Your missed tackle count will be the telling thing. We found it very easy to get through you and looked like we could score every time we had it. It wasn't that we won some kind of arm wrestle. We just found it too easy at times.
Your body language wasn't good. I was behind the sticks and even early on, when you were trooping back, there was no spark or fight in your players.

| Awful afternoon-Wakey scored time and time again from 50 + metres out-One on one tackles missed repeatedly-No positives to take from it.
Clubby was binned for a high tackle

| Just back from a dismal display. Team looks very tired, no solid defence broken down the middle, right hand side and left hand side. Poor kicking game, even missed touch on a penalty, no idea in attack our score flatters. Difficult to say who is playing well, next weeks going to be interesting against Cas.

| Right, fed and watered after the long slog back on the train and my thoughts.......
The good points; it was a lovely sunny sunday afternoon, The Paddock Express ran on time both ways, The beer in Fernandes Brewery Tap was good and the apology from David Hughes and Gus McKay
The Bad Points: No communication, no cohesion, no spirit, no commitment, glaring big holes up the middle, poor tackling and when they did some were high, Clubby's sin binning, Karl Pryce (yes I know he scored a try but did bugger all else), the walk back to the station.
On the club site today's performance is described as "Dogged", mmmmmm dictionary definition of that word is "Stubbornly persevering; tenacious" I don't know who wrote that tagline but they were obviously wearing rose tinted sunglasses or drank too much in the hospitality suite pre-game. The tagline should actually read "Quins lose the plot again!"
They outplayed us and outclassed us. Saw a comment from Rob Powell about his worries for the next few games, 3 games in 8 days etc all I can say is God help us !!! The RFL will not be appointing a referee for the Cas game, Dickie Bird is doing the honours 'cos it's gonna be a cricket score !!!
.....anybody looking to buy a train ticket to Hull???? it'll be up on ebay soon !!!

| I was listening online last night and from the BBC London Commentary it sounded very very bad.
I have to echo again what has been already said, Defensively we need to improve. The amount of times we were 40-50 out defending and the commentator continuely reported that Wakefield "have walked through the defence" or Quins have "missed another tackle and they are through the middle" was very very worrying.
Another issue was when we had got ourselves back to 32-22 with 25 mins to go and Wakey were on the ropes, then a more worrying aspect of our recent form started happening. As the commentary team pointed out Quins started playing miracle rugby in their own half like there was only 5 mins to go.
Then the biggest worry of all, Disipline. 32-22 with around 20 mins to go and bang, gale with two high shot penalties in the space of a minute of play, then another penalty and a sending off straight after that. What has happened??? It just sounded like we imploded from there on.
From the commentary team they said the Randall and Kops had nightmare games. And from the sounds of it Temata appeared to be one of our better players.
I was'nt there and all I can go on is what I heard on the radio, but if it was as bad as I have heard it was and imagine, then I think the team and coaching staff need to start asking some serious questions of themselves this week!!
