| Worst opposition performance I've seen since Bradford last year, and for me Quins looked alot better than the BBC match report and quite a long way better than the 40-22 scoreline suggests.
Being at the game and not having the benefit of the replays I was truly baffled by some of Robert Hicks decisions today and I am usually one who can see a penalty when it is there to be given, either for or against us, but today he threw me a few that I just couldn't see for the life of me. Two of the Wakey tries were for the weakest of penalties, one being or taken to long on the man after a dominant tackle, clearly Hicks didn't see the Wakey player suffer the dominant tackle is the only plausible explanation.

We can be bad and very bad mate, and although i did not visit i did listen in and speak to friends at the game i would have to agree the score flattered Wakey.

| Incredible. At one point in the second half when Wakey's defence was laughable, I had to pinch myself that it wasn't US playing in sky blue. Some promising stuff at last. It was good to see the confidence flooding back as the game went on. Just as well when you consider the make up of 4 of the last 5 home games...

| Great performance. Thought JO'C played brilliantly, his tackling is getting better by each week. Good to see i only saw about two players in Randell and Bailey that were Aussies. Role on the wins!

| Two points and hopefully some confidence, however the handling errors and the number of penalties given away would have lost us the game against anyone else.
Oh and as for Aussies, there was a certain full back.

| What an improvement, a great team effort. When we went well, players were rushing to congratulate each other, on the few mistakes, pats on the back and "keep your head up" were the order of the day. I too thought O'Callagham had a cracker. It seems a long time since I've jumped out of my seat that much at a game
A shame the crowd was only 2,875, it seemed more from the noise, but it's hard to assess when people are using three stands... and the other stands being open works, nice to see that's going to remain for the rest of the season
Only one negative, please, please, please get shut of the 49'ers and that awful "music", they and it add nothing, but I appreciate some may disagree. Give me AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" anyday

its only a dominant tackle if the ref calls it as a dominant tackle!!!! so he was quite right to blow the whistle!!!

| I am very happy with the win, I think it will do the confidence the world of good. I think the narrow defeats to Hull, Bradford, Catalan Dragons earlier in the season (all games where we were in winnable positions) really dented the confidence of the players following a good start.
I thought against Bradford there were signs that things were getting better. There was bit more bite back in the defence. The problem in that game was the attack didn't fire right and some bad decisions were made at key times for various reasons which cost us any chance of a victory. Arguably the performance against Leeds in the cup a few weeks back was a lot better than many were expecting as well. So today wasn't a total shock, but it was a good way to end the run.
Coming into the seasons I had very low expectations given the lack of squad depth, lack of funding that had gone into the first team and a relatively untested coach at the highest level. I fully expected us to be knocking around the bottom of the table. So to be four points away from the top eight with nine games to go isn't great (and not where the club should be aiming to be), but it isn't bad given the circumstances. Yes you can say on one hand that we are only above the teams who had points deductions. On the other hand we are not far of Hull KR, Bradford and Salford, all of whom recruited better than us and were fancied to go much better by many.
And for all the flak he has got on here, I thought Chris Bailey really stood up for us today and played well, so I'd like to single him out for special praise *ducks*.
