Success for this game can only be measured in terms of how many newcomers it attracts and how many of those are persuaded to come back.



I fear, however, that success in those terms will be used to make the case for a move when all it will actually demonstrate is that the more effort you put into attracting people to games the more are likely to turn up.

People seem to be forgetting that there actually is no choice about playing away from the Stoop. Where we go is not really of interest to anyone at the stoop management, they need to treat the playing surface -end of.

Regardless of the "supposed" reasons for being OTR, the fact that the club have apparently engaged in more marketing for these 2 games than they have since the move to the stoop in 2006, points to an awfull lot of eggs being put in one basket....

Have you noticed GF, that when we win a game, you come on here within a couple of days and coat the club off for something or another? Normally conveying the same message over and over.

I have been "coating the club off" since 2003......win, lose or draw and yes, it is always the same subject....and it will continue to be until the penny drops. After the CEO announcing that commercial viability and 10k gates were the target back in January......we have instead seen crowds drop.......so yep, "a coating off" is the order of the day



Ticketing for this game with regard to ST holders was a farce.......putting a coach on at 20 quid is insanity beyond stupidity and advising people to get the Drain on a Sunday another example of things not being thought through properly......so yes, I will "coat off the club" because IMO they are stumbling from error to farce with alarming prefessionalism



By the way....beating the 4 teams we have this year is nothing to write home about....2 part time clubs and 2 other cellar dwellars......and we are only being kept off the floor by the new boys (who beat us) on points difference......but as I say, win lose or draw, until they start acting like a professional club, they will get "coated off"



Pre 2011......15 seasons of Superleague...about 200 games at home......3 times sub 2k gates. 18 home games since 2011......we've had 4....22% of our home games sub 2,000 gates.......yeah, they deserve a medal

I do totally empathise with everyone's frustrations, I really do. But that's easy for me to say 10,000 miles away and not living what you lot continually have to endure.

Your frustration is repetitive on here. Send it all to the club. We've read them on here countless times. Many of us have been converted. Most of us know we are in a poor spot to say the least. No-one on here praises them much. So your medal comment says more about your projection of anger than anything based in fact.



And to think, you're not even there. I feel for the poor s back in blighty, not the ones who it has no real effect on in the anitpodes... like us.

Simpy put....they are f()*king everything up at every stage......I know I come across as 100% negative and I swear by all that is sacred, I wish I didn't have to be, but the current scenario at the club is the worst it has been in the Superleague era...and that includes 2005!

It isn't, but the reference to "when we win" would be redundant if you were intending to suggest it happened in other circumstances. HTH.
