| Quote Fully="Fully"Well done on the victory. Good defensive effort won it for you.
But on a side note, I'm sorry but I've lost respect for Huddersfield fans tonight. Booing Walker when he went off injured was uncalled for. There was nothing in it.'"
I agree, I clapped him and so did a few others but those that booed should be utterly ashamed, there is no place in RL for that. The lad was obviously in pain and I hope it's not too bad an injury.

| why did he put his knees in to big Eorl? If thats whats got him injured by faking his fall then he'll think again the next time he thinks of doing something as stupid as that.
Hope he's alright though but not as much as I hope Brough is....

He didn't put his knees in. I've seen loads of RL players do that before and it isn't done maliciously. He then stood back got his studs caught whilst Eorl grabbed hold of his leg and he fell over an twisted his knee by looks of it.
For the fans to boo that is just wrong.

Not what the referee thought and definatly not what it looked like on sky. He put both knees into Eorl and didn't do a very good job of it much to his cost. If that was classed as a grab on his leg by Eorl then I'd be ashamed to go over so easily, play acting comes to mind and he's now paying the price....

| Yes, the referee gave the penalty for him doing it because he obviously deemed it as interference preventing Eorl from playing the ball.
He went over easily as he got his stood caughts and Eorl's quick grab, whether strong or not, moved his leg slightly so he tripped over. Not deliberate by Eorl and innocuous. But that is by-the-by. No one is arguing that; the discussion (or as least mine) was regarding the booing that ensued following said incident.

| I didn't boo but it was clear they were trying to rough Eorl up and your lad got the bad end of the deal, the reason I guess some fans booed him was because he was trying to rough Eorl up not because he was injured.
Back to the game, I thought we mullered them in the forwards which meant they struggled to keep up with us, and some big gaps appeared. The second try they scored was when we were down to 12 men, and they were struggling to complete with us then.
Thought all the forwards for us were magnificent, as was Leroy and Robbo, how Grix caack on I'll never know as he looked like he'd done his shoulder. Looking forward to the CC game when it comes round.

| Whilst I dont agree with the booing does anyone actually know what was wrong with the guy after the 'challenge' with Eorl?. I think the reaction from the fans was more about him attempting to have a go at Eorl and ending up with an injury himself. Hope he is ok. The other issue was Richard Owen and him falling to the ground clutching his face after running into Bruno?. What was that about - he was ok soon enough.
Still to watch the replay this evening but some are suggesting it was an elbow but looked pretty minimal in terms of contact from where I was in the EAST stand.

Richard Owen must train with a Spanish or Premiership football club during the week the way he went down after rubbing shoulder to shoulder with Bruno. I'd be ashamed to call my self a SL player after that play acting, As for the booing I've go no idea other than some fans thought he was playing dirty towards Eorl. The funniest thing was when the Cas fans were booing Eorl as he ran over a few of their players and ended up knocking Aspy for 6 in the process!!!!

Now that was embarassing, he looked a right plonker, when you see players like Grix who was sparked out last week, do his arm/shoulder and go off then re-appear to take his place in the line.
Then you see that numpty rolling around to just get back up
