So are you saying that he has definitely been released/loaned out, or does nobody actually know?

hes deffo had captains role taken off him from what i can gather, not certain about him leaving though, but strong rumours suggest so.

Let's get this into perspective, Kevin Brown has had a shocking season (at Loose Forward).



At stand off for the last few years he has been one of giants best players. He is a better stand off than centre.



His problem through all his career has been confidence. In the big games he has let himself down both for Wigan and Giants. His confidence at the moment is rock bottom just as it was when he left Wigan.



But to suddenly label him as a centre at best is very shallow. He's made a good contribution but it's time to move on. Same with Nathan Brown. All this hysteria about both Browns is getting a bit silly.



Let's look forward to the future not dwell on the past.



With two wins (Wakey and Sts) Giants are back in the mix. For me finishing 5 or 6 is better than 3 or 4 (easy first game then away to a side that has just been spanked by Wigan or Warrington).



Time to get positive and get behind Anderson.

Losing the captaincy makes sense and should probably have happened sooner in the best interests of both the Club and the player. OK there are awkward bits about that like the captains weekly column in the local paper, but I would have thought KB would have been a bit embarrassed about continuing to do that when his future lay elsewhere.



You never know the clearing of the air may help him get a bit of form back for you!

Brown announced by examiner as injured and probably out for the season !

A good player ,but not a good captain. Seemed to lose his confidence after failing to be picked for England last year. Think if he has lost captains job his only real option is to leave the club as stopping on would be embarresing for him. Thanks for the god times Kevin and best of luck whatever happens.

he has had this ankle injury all season really, missed early part of the season too



still a top player in my book and been a great servant for the giants if this is the last we have seen of him.

So the injury story is to prevent him going to a rival now then. He is NOT injured.

He gets paid for the rest of the season and goes to widnes next year as planned.

He is injured and has been all season and i would suspect he is in need of an operation.

It makes sense for this to heppen now as Anderson will want to start planning for next season and as Brown is not here he will be better off looking at other options in the team.

If he is not injured then why invent the story? Is he a player who 'does not do as he is told consistently'? If we are not going to play him, I see no reason not to release him to Widnes.

The story has been invented for all to save face. Widnes aren't able to take him yet but hull are desperate given their injuries - it doesn't make sense to release him to strengthen another side rivalling us for playoffs (again!)

Hull are interested? Seriously? I cannot see it. No disrespect to Kevin but his current form is pretty terrible.
