| Quote the stella kid="the stella kid"So foul mouthed personal abuse aimed at the club captain is acceptable?
If these fans think the behind the scenes problems are causing the current problems then maybe they should be venting their frustration at the Chief Executive.'"
It's quicker and easier than a leaflet campaign.
How would you suggest people show their disgust?
For the record - I'd left the stand for a pee before the end of the game!

| Does anyone actually no the full details of what went on with Hodgsons contract talks.
I certainly don't but i do know that if we only offered one year and Wire gave him two then why should he not take the better offer as he has his family to consider.
I have played myself sport for many years and i know teams do not become bad overnight. The main problem when a bad run occurs is usually lack of confidence (and the players body language certainly suggests this). This can be difficult to get out of and what the team needs is every one to give thier full backing. If you were a player out there yesterday and heard the abuse your captain was getting how would you feel. Angry and upset i would think.
We are also hoping some of our better out of contract players will sign up again for next season. After seeing the way our fans behave i would not blame them if they walked away as well and found a club were their efforts were appreciated.
I will support the team win or lose and at the end of the day we are still in the top eight so we cannot have been that bad all season.
The team are certainly not playing well but i find it hard to believe, and i have certainly not seen any evidence that any of our players are giving less than 100%.
The players need the backing of the fans. We may have lost four on the bounce (against the two top teams in the league) but we will bounce back it just needs a bit more believe and we can get the season back on track.

| Completely agree with stella.
Hopefully Hodgson and the players will take into account a degree of frustration on the fans part but ATEOTD shouting abuse at them wont make them play any better or try any harder. Not that I believe they could try harder.

| you sometimes try too hard and this is why errors increase because you are thinking about every play instead of playing relaxed rugby.

| In a way it could be a good thing. They could just decide that the fans can now get bent and just play for themselves. A bit of a siege mentality effect.

| Fans are ever fickle.
I remember making a comment when Rod Jensen was the fans darling that as soon as he made a couple of mistakes they would turn on him and that would be it.
A month later he had a howler against Warrington and no one could say a good thing about him, his confidence was shot and never recovered.
Only Huddersfield fans crucify their players out of the team.

| Jenson. Can't help feeling if the club had been more patient and worked out how to use him best he could have been a real star. I think he was very similar to Amos Roberts who also took time to settle.

| I was stood in front of 3 boozed half wits who thought that shouting "Judas" every time he went to kick at goal was obviously a wise and clever thing that would help the team win.
There's no reason whatsoever to have a go at the player, he's done what he's done after the club have done what they have. The help of these halfwits is not going to help the team one bit and if there's any on here I'd suggest they hold their thoughts whilst the players are giving it their all in boiling sunshine.

Gilmour was extremely lucky to not receive a red card: on report, a penalty for hitting then at the very next tackle a yellow card for hitting!

Quote Ivor C&G Scarf="Ivor C&G Scarf"I would totally disagree there. Hodgson was just as near to the KOs as Leroy. In previous games I would have bet that BH would have gone for those. Not having a go at BH, by the way. If I were I would point out other errors he made - but that would be unfair on another 10 players who ought to get a mention.
