could we not take Karl Pryce on loan as a centre before thursday? there was talk about this last week and he was left out of Wigans team at the weekend!

Both Donlan and Higson will be missing on Thursday I understand.



Maybe now Rud will get a chance in the centres to prove what he is worth and hopefully he takes the chance with two hands. I don't think Kelly has much left to change with players (there is some good news on the horizon I believe though

i like Meekin but he should get a rest IF he was 2stone heavier i would keep him in I wouldn't like to see all the rugby knocked out of him playing in a poor side so young.

I asked Nicky Stanton had he ever played stand off with the pies and he said never. I told him I,d play him anywhere in the side even prop.

I was a bit squiffy when I said the bit about prop though.

give him chance hes only just turned 20 and will fill out over the next 12 months and 2 stones is a bit to much for your modern day prop, think hes the only leigh player to play in all the games upto now including friendlys

Would this be the 'distant' horizon?

Well Donlan and Higson not playing isn't great news thats for sure.



It's about time he started playing Higson in the 2nd row where he belongs anyway.



As for signings... I wont comment until something actually happens. Kelly said there's money in the pot a while back, well it's no good there so get it spent.

Very good news if he's back and good to see him given a shot at 6 as nobody else seems to be taking hold of the stand off role. Also good to see Rudd getting a chance in the centres ahead of Stewart - lets just hope he performs.

Good line up, but I would put Alstead on wing and drop Maden to reserves ( not earned his spot IMO), bench would be - Meekin,Rourke,Durbin and Chris Hill with Haggerty starting .........Chris has been superb from the bench as an impact player like Durbin.
