When Sky are at the LSV when we play why does our screen not link up with wots being aired on TV like the SL? I'd imagine it would only be a few cables & when it goes to the videio ref why does " TRY or NO TRY" not appear on the screen also? It seems stupid when they put the screen up in the LSV i thought " that'll be used when sky is here also" obviously not how stupid

The screen resolution is not good enough to show quality video.



Experiments will take place re the LSV.TV people and myself but as for video on the large screen that looks like a no no.

Graphics are certainly getting better if recent LGFC games are anything to go by, so things are getting there.

Been the same at the Rovers games, with spinning around and flashing "GOAL".

Michael ward may possibly know the answer, but I dont think they had the 'hardware' last year to do it.

Slightly O/T I know, but at the last Blackburn reserves match, Sky where there 'testing' the new 3D HDTV we are about too receive. Why the LSV? Because it is only one of about 6 Stadiums in the country too have HD ready Floodlights!!!

That's how state of the Art this stadium is!!!



Also between the North and West stand is a Frame ready for another Screen, should Leigh reach SL!!!

Originally it was intended to have 2 screens inside the ground , then somebody realised that one on the front of the West stand could be used as an advertising board

That and the fact that they cost about £80k each!

Photos should not be a problem, I suppose it all boils down to what the LSV are willing to supply and what Leigh Centurions are willing to pay for, I could provide a multi camera shoot with RF feed to a central mixing desk/point but who would pay for A The Equipment, and B the staff to operate it? We do a two camera shoot at most home games anyway, Si does an end on for the coaches benefit, and I do the main game camera side on as per RFL requirements.
