Every forum has posters that quote a "reliable source". Unless backed up they cannot be treated any more seriously than "I understand from the brother of my girlfriend's hairdresser".

Not at all, Beaumont is fantastic for Leigh. Without him the club would have gone bust, without him as Director of rugby we wouldn't have Hock, Moimoi or Higham and wouldn't have kept hold of Brierly. He's an excellent business man and really knows his rugby. Just could do with thinking things through before making public statements/getting into arguments sometimes.

For me Hock and moi Moi are just a waste of money(maybe Higham too) and for that reason I think they are part of the reason why Leigh have not even made the play off game this season. Im certain with that money could have been used on players that would offer far better value for money and could actually cut it at this level rather than been past it players getting a last pay cheque.

Both commentators said that mid week they had been informed by the club that they were not to be allowed to broadcast. They even put an announcement in the Bradford T&A on Saturday that it has now been resolved and will be broadcasting which is why their schedule didn't show the program.

This wasn't a rumour from a mate. It was the actual station and reporters who said it live on air that they had been told they would not be allowed in the ground to broadcast.



That is as clear as it gets in my eyes.



I assume it happened because in that first game they were seated right behind Mr Beaumont and saw and heard everything he was doing and reported on his disgraceful (their words) behaviour.

the game and said so live on air - so no confusion can be made about who said what.

DB has his heart 100% in the club and would do anything for them and probably is a good businessman.

But how many times have we seen successful people have no control over their mouth and emotions which leaves them looking terrible. The problem here is that it also stains the thousands of good people of Leigh and the great club - all because of one idiot who cannot control himself. He does need someone to have a chat with him and persuade him to sit in a hospitality room where he can behave exactly how he wants and doesn't offend people and let someone else be the public face of the club. That would solve all of this and stop two clubs becoming enemies all because of one person. This could go on for years if it isn't stopped now. It needs both owners to get together and call an end to it or it could get out of control and some idiot fans then take it into their own hands each time they meet.

Agreed apart from the fact I don't despise Leigh....I find them funny. Alex Murphy and Leigh were made for each other.

Hock started slowly but before his injury was playing some fantastic stuff. Higham we needed a hooker and a player with experience of SL and he's been playing some good rugby. Fui does what Fui does, he runs forwards quick and hard, he's more than good enough for the Championship, probably can't cut it in SL anymore but he's only got one year left in him, as a way of marketing the club though he's fantastic & will have paid for himself.
