Looks like teams now know how to play against us, we've shipped some points in the last few games. Anyone with a bit of pace and a modicum of creativity will run rings round us, and this is starting to show

What concerned me about today was not the lack of the duals or the regulars who did not play.



I thought we had 5 players today who gave acceptable performances. Two of todays team have had their chance but not taken it so I think it unlikely we will see them again.



Our speed of passing was poor and so many mistakes and wrong options it reminded me of the York game. Too many off games by too many players at the same time in my view and I was disappointed with one of our props in particular. Not C Hill of course.



Nanyn whose defence today was poor to say the least was dressed and on the touchline for the second half with some of his fingers taped up.

Mick had a deep gash in one of his fingers.

Totally agree Frank,a couple of those lads waiting for their chance blew it,not good enough, agree we could them playing for other teams soon,again thought Hilly had a good game along with Duffs,but hopewe change BIG TIME on Thursday .

thought higson was our best player today.hes the only player with any true pace in our team.the left winger just arked round i think it was alstead from the tap on the 20 and left him for dead.in basil i trust and like said earlier some people missed their chance today.find a lightning winger for next year or if possible for the run in this year,one that will get you off your seat like dessie used to do and we wont be far off the tropheys.roll on thursday will be a different team they face then.their 7 ran everything for them, good player but basil has we now know wasnt sat up in the stand for nothing and he will get it right for thursday no probs.

Utterly abysmal, think only Leuluai, Hill and Higson can honestly say that they had a decent game today. Completely clueless in front of the line, and not for the first time this year either.

Stop sing at the back.

This was also my view on leaving the stadium. They had an opportunity and could not grasp it.It would be kind to describe one or two performances as 'woeful'



You can see why Basil shipped some out on loan this season. Basil is no mug, they will be shipped out permanently next season.

Speaking of players being shipped out on loan, I find the decision to let Meekin go on loan to Swinton all the more bizarre with the lack of 'go forward' in our pack today.

For all his endeavour Mike Morrison is not big enough ( I have said that for the past 2 years) and even if you take into account his 'quick PTB' (which Bibey will gives us anyway) we badly lack a grunt forward to pack down along side Hill.



And as for Leulaui, read above. Simply not big enough - Sorry.

Is Nash fully fit? I don't think i've seen him get past a slow jog since he signed. Well done to Batley they made far fewer errors and gave away fewer penalties and were just generally better than us today. We had no 'spark' at all today. Was the most flat performance i've seen this year. Even our 2 tries were nothing creative at all.



Hopefully at least Riddy, Taylor, Bibey and Donlan will be back for thursday and hopefully a few more as well.
