On one side we have fans walking to Widnes to help their club on the other we have allegations of racism, foul language, violence and spitting which believe me will crucify our SL aspirations if WE turn the other cheek.

there seem to be a few faceless people doing a lot of accusing at the moment and whilst this nasty behaviour was ment to be rampant on sunday its one individual who seems to be being ruined on a rl forum without the abillity to defend himself.that dosnt seem right to me.

Sorry I can't help, I only know one or two in those photos, none of them are those you're asking about, it's further back and to our left as we view the pitch.

So if the faceless people did nowt, it would be brushed under the carpet and it then continues and even becomes acceptable with others joining the clan even. Nip it in the bud I say.

If at the very least these people can be put in a position of explaining their innocense (even if they may not be) would at least let them know this behaviour is not acceptable and would make them think twice.

No fax fans are saying rampant, they seem to focus on 3. If you know those three then you need to get them to the club to either clear their names or be banned for life.

It seems we had this problem at Bradford if you look at a fellow Leythers post earlier and we had it in SL v Leeds if I recall.

Its never many so lets get it sorted, our club doesnt deserve association to this and I would be the first one to defend the rights of the BNP to have a law abiding rally etc but not the behaviour alleged

J.C whilst I accept the individuals' concerned cannot defend themselves unless of course they post on here. They had the audacity to put in a counter allegation when they were approached by the steward, that the Halifax fans in front were shouting the racist abuse! The person/s indentified in a number of reports are a disgrace to your club and they should be banned and subjected to police action. Hopefully a review of the CCTV might help in evidence of those involved in the spitting. Unfortunately the stewards should have acted and ejected the persons concerned after the first complaint, but failed to do so. If the LSV are unable to deal with the problem, I appeal to the fans that witnessed the incident to come forward and make statements to the clubs/ local police. If the issue is just swept under the carpet, similar incidents will occur in future and damage your clubs reputation.

To be fair in this I mentioned photos/video earlier in this thread. I feel it should be down to the LSV/police/press at the request of the police who should be publishing these photos and requesting information and not a wronged fan. While I am not doubting the allegations, I personally didn't see anything. This smacks a little bit of a kangaroo court. Give the photos to the LSV and the police and let them deal with it as they feel fit.

It's all about the process of gathering evidence isn't it to be fair. Yes, this person can't defend himself on here but given that 4 people have already identified him as someone who when questioned on the day, that he admitted it was him being racist by saying 'i'm allowed to be' then he's one of the only people we can be sure of. For most of the game these Fax fans would be hearing it behind them but looking at the pitch so if it was a group of 10, would be hard to give a positive ID on more than a few, which is the case so far as it appears to be 3 that did enough to clearly get noticed. If a fax fans started saying 'aye, it was him, him, him her, him etc' while looking at the photo that's clearly bull and is plucking people out just because they are in that area. But at this moment, given these 3 are the ones mainly mentioned, it's worth looking at the CCTV of these 3 during the game and if these are the ones being spoken to by the stewards then they haven't got much defence as all roads lead to them.

I have personally, along with a lot of other people I know of, to make the RFL, Leigh and Fax know of these people!! I have watched a lot of rugby league over the years amateur, professional both as a fan and as a guest of officials and I have never experienced this sort of situation again and will do my upmost to ensure that these people do not ruin our brilliant game there is no place in rugby league for thugs and racists

If I had know those in question, I wouldn't have posted it on here, I would have notified LSV/Leigh Centurions, they are the ones who need to investigate/act, they should also be talking to the steward who was notified.

Incidents like this are a police matter, give them the evidence and I am sure they will look at the cctv and talk to the steward and anyone else they could talk to who were on that picture although I am sure 95% of the them would be annoyed they were being questioned about racist behaviour
