Had enough of this. So predictable. Second half collapse. It's looking like last season all over again.

Awful, I give up watching the rest. 2nd half has been really poor after a good first half. Wigan ruck control is dubious, our lack of fire to deal with it is just infuriating. The toe joins the resr of my body in the Powell out camp. Its time, surely?

Ratchford,Walker,Drinkwater + Currie the standouts at being anonymous.

We are weakened with players missing but we shouldn't be this poor. The most average Wigan side I have seen in years with a CC semi final next week. We are not playing anywhere near the wage bill.



I'm close to having enough of Powell now.

Pace was always going to be the big problem tonight.

As soon as the game opened up we all knew we'd be buggered. We all knew this was a very limited team.

Not a chance. They won't sack Powell after a defeat at Wigan, with several of your key players missing.



Anyone who brings up Powell out tonight is wasting their breath.

New coach will at least have a decent run of teams to build momentum.



Powell has had his chance, he probably deserved said chance. He's blown it. That'll be galling for him, but frankly, i couldn't give 2 hoots about his feelings

It's like watching your kids playing bit parts in the school play - you have to watch, even though you really don't want to.



Back in the late 80's I pretty much stopped watching Warrington altogether - I may yet do it again, it's painful to watch wage thieves like Matautia, Drinkwater, kasiano, Dudson et al.



And don't get me started on the referees...

No wonder Nicholson wants out.

We are simply not playing good enough. We don't have the perfect squad but we are playing nowhere near our potential. The buck stops with Powell. If he doesn't arrest this fall in the next few games then we should cut our losses.

I heard that rumour too.

If that side had Williams in it, then it'd be a lot more likely than after tonight. Personally though, I think he's still here for next season.

But why would Season 3 be any better than Season 2?



Surely if the Powell experiment was working we would be playing better than this by now ? Plus we look gassed after 60 mins.

We got one with 3 minutes to go for the quickest PTB we had all half.

It’s just so predictable. It’s easy to pull together a list of what went wrong, but alarmingly what went right was Daryl Clark. And we’re letting him go.

Well who the hell does he think he is? If he was still at Wigan he wouldn't be getting a gig and I'm still waiting for an injury free run to show what the fuss is about.



Maybe that kind of nonsense is part of the problem.

Exactly.

Too many times in my 40odd years of watching, I've seen a "heroic defeat" (still a defeat), being followed up by absolute tripe. Next week is crucial to our season. Wigan are no great shakes, as are the rest of SL. Lose that, and last night's effort might as well've been a 20odd point thrashing.



The players have shown some gumption, which has been missing since April. We expect nothing less than 100% effort each week. Wether we get it, is another matter.

Now, I don't claim to be Nostradamus, but I think we all knew that today's "performance" in the second half, was inevitable.

Foxtrot Oscar, Powell. Take several of your players with you.

I assume we started the season at full Salary Cap level. We are heading into another season of 5h1te, after last season's catastrophe.



The buck stops with him.
