This could become a very expensive trip. Apparently CH is some 600 km away from Sydney towards Brisbane. surely, it would have been more punter friendly to play the game in Sydney or Brisbane.

They usually play trail games in these kind of places. There way of spreading the game around I suppose.

you'll proberley find that they are out of season, sept-nov. Also be careful of the flight, the cheapest is not always the best, you could find yourself spending upto 10 hours between flights in other airports.
£1240 is the cheapest I've seen for jan. |

It's about 8 hours by bus or train from Sydney.
Not a bad trip - you can see the country side.
The bus is half the price of the train, but less comfortable.
About 40 pounds by bus - maybe 80 by train.
You could stop over in Newcastle for a day if you wanted to break up the trip. |

Friend of mine lives in Adelaide, but I doubt I could afford to get over there with too much short notice, especially as I'm away for the Challenge Cup Final.
If I won EuroMillions or something, that would be a different story indeed. I'd travel over there in luxury!
