The Challenge cup isn't an open competition between any team in the country anymore. For example, Saints and Wigan won so many in a row during their pomps because of the 'easy' structure of the competition and the finals of recent years refelcts this. Ultimately, There is no gain in only winning 4 or 5 games (many against lower opposition)
I say we all boycott the cup until they replace it with a new league and playoff system, or better yet, force them to scrap it completely and focus soley on the Super League competition. They could even add more pseudo-interntational matches to the calender.'"
Oh dear! If and it is still an if despite Hudd's recent form, we get to Wembley you won't be going then Mr Rocket? If and its a bigger if depending upon the opposition, we actually win the Cup I take it you won't be celebrating? |
