Yeah thats more or less what i'm saying, and i'd wager on it that if it did happen our four first choice props would be Morley, Carvell , Wood and Fielden.. So yeah why not sign him on a year on year contract, thats what we are doing with Briers , wood and hopefully Solomona.

Listen we need to be looking at developing younger props to help out Cooper when Morley,Carvell and Wood all either retire or move on. Fielden? A backward step in my opinion.

Whilst he is finished, it is easy to forget what a force Fielden was in his pomp. One of the best props of the Superleague era and whilst I wouldn't pay him to pick up the bits of tape trapped in Harrison's hair, he's had a great career.



My guess is that one of the reasons his decline has been so sudden is the amount of 80 minute stints he did as a younger man. Take note James Graham.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a return to Bradford.

For the right money he would be a good member of the squad (but I can't see at whose expense). At present you would have to guess he is massively over-paid for what he has and is producing for Wigan although I'm sure he will re-sign for Wigan on the same "pea-nuts" all their players are "apparently" paid.

Have a look at him, laugh, shake your head in dismay, walk away.

If we were signing a front rower I 've always thought Richard Moore would do a good job for us. He's loads of ability but his fitness is a question mark, possibly due to the illness he suffered. Get him fit and with TS to point him in his direction I think he would be what we need.

Fielden - no thanks.
