Nobody is seriously telling Saddened to "jog on". As previously mentioned, he is a knowledgable poster and seems pretty fair with his comments, anything posted in this thread is simply good natured banter. I think you are getting a bit touchy - its a non-issue.

I believe an approach has been made regarding Laithwaite. Currie is still under contract so I doubt anything formal has been undertook there.

That's true, he is actually a Wire mole that we have used to infiltrate the Saints board and to spread gloom and despondency by agitating for new players to be signed from other highly successful neighbours.

The youngster that is going to saints is apparently Jack Cooper.

As implied by PY, this seems unlikely as he has returned from Oz and must have been re-contracted with Wire as he played for the U20's last Saturday. So if he was going to Saints, surely he would have gone directly ?? Not that I have any personal knowledge of the situation.

It's been tweeted a couple of times today. Not sure how reliable the accounts are though, think wwolvestweets was one of them. Didn't he have a disagreement with the Wire that lead to his Australia trip?

We will not be able to keep all our promising youngsters but I am sure TS has one eye on our ageing pack and if we are signing Bateman one might assume that somebody will probably go but that could well be one or two 1st team fringe players as he will presumably go straight into our 1st team squad as he is already playing 1st grade at Bradfut.



Laithewaite, Currie and Cooper as potentially the cream of the crop I would have thought would stay. Although there has to be a savage filtering system in the youth set up to make room for those moving up through the grades.
