As Knighty said, not 100% committed. To say that he wants to play with a different club whilst apparently playing for a new contract here is, well stupid really. Be careful what you wish for.

Gary says "how are the contract negotiations going" and Johnsons answer to that question is "not bad, I've sort of made it known that I was at Wigan for eight years and I wouldn't mind going back to Wigan at the end of my career"



Johnson can't complain about his words being twisted, his answer to a direct question is there to be seen.



However even if he does fancy going back to Wigan I wouldn't have any worries over Johnsons commitment, he's always been an unselfish and dedicated pro.

It certainly looks like we have offered him a deal of some sort for him to say that, it was in the Wigan Observer about a month ago we were looking at him.

you don't need him, certainly with the abundance in talent (ss) in the back row that one of your compatriots pointed out on her earlier this week.

I'd say we have a lot of second rowers but they are all mostly young so we could potentially have the abundance of talent they were talking about. What is his best position?
