Minor incident ? probably. 1 or 2 muppets in a generally very good crowd ? Probably. Loads of police/stewards in high profile reaction to incident ? Very likely.

Same as last week then when 1 idiot threw a bottle of p!22 which kicked off a reaction causing a similar reaction from the crowd/stewards/police.

Twice in 2 weeks at the HJ. I know it happens but it's got to stop before these sort of things are all that's reported about RL and we all start getting ourselves an undeserved reputation.

Seems with have just 1 Warrington fan stirring it up on both this forum and Salfords forum....sad.

I was in the West Stand and there was obvious tension in the air for those last few minutes. It was like something from one of those crap football hooligan films about the 1980s complete with a Policemans hat flying through the air.

i seen the hat go, it was an unlikely culprit though.

How you lot see Salford is how the rest of Super League see Warrington.

I must admit I shouldn't but I did laugh at that. Haven't seen that for ages.

There was more than 1 or 2 kicking off. There was at least 7-8 that I could see. Yes, it's a small number considering how many fans Salford took but it's still incidents worthy of police/steward intervention.







A similar reaction? I don't seem to recall a mass of hi res jacketed stewards and police storming the West stand during the Wakefield game to collar some guy chucking a bottle of homemade lucozade.







Undeserved reputation? For what? Opposition fans fighting with stewards and police? Aye, I can see how Salford fans doing that are really going to affect the reputation of Warrington Wolves.





And anyway, we've already been called the "Scum of Rugby League" by some lame brained Wigan fan, so I guess we've already got a "reputation". There was a tiny, tiny amount of Wire fans involved, but yet someone came out with a sweeping generalisation like that.

A few idiots causing trouble. Disgrace and an embarrassment to both Salford and the game of rugby league. The vast majority of Salford fans can be proud of the effort they put in to backing their team today



I'd encourage any Salford fans to name and shame the culprits. Not on a public forum, but to either the Salford club, or to the police.



No need for the petty bickering about it and certainly no need for a "holier than thou" Wigan fan to come in and make a very unhelpful comment in the situation. Sod off back to your own board and stop stirring trouble where it's not wanted, or needed.

So true, Wigan come down every year and kick it of out side the kings head and the railway, get filled in, then blame the Warrington fans.
