To be fair we heard plenty of the same from our lot when Wire beat Quins by the same score and it's only to be expected.



I read a couple of comments on here last week saying they thought we couldn't improve much on last Saturday and I disagreed. I thought tonight we stepped it up a level and still look like we can go higher in all honesty. The players look hungry and were still flying at Catalans in defence in the last few minutes. The thing I was most pleased about tonight was that 2 of our best players were Richards and Carmont who've been quiet upto now and Amos Roberts though solid didn't do too much which is good because we need the players to all share the responsibility around.



I just hope the players and fans keep their feet on the ground because we can't afford to get ahead of ourselves. We do look good but then so do a few other teams and we'll have a really bad patch at some point. We just need to make sure we come back from that.

Hard to judge if you stepped up a level against Catalan they are really poor couldn't even beat Quins, not that its not a great result but just hard to judge it as a step up it level as this game was alot easier then the one last Saturday.

Of course it's hard to judge as looking at Wire and Catalans they're worlds apart this season but to me we played with just as much intensity for the first 40mins and the last 25mins and totally cut out our silly handling errors and daft penalties.



If Wigan had turned up for the first 15 minutes of the 2nd half the score could have been 80+ tonight.

Tonight's was the first game I've seen in a fortnight having been away last weekend and it was truly dire I agree. I'm surprised the first meeting between last season's Challenge Cup finalists wasn't chosen but I suppose we've been on the last two weeks in a row and they have to mix it up.

yeah no suprises tonight, but a bit of an odd scoreline at the willows!

the hull quins game might have been a bit dull, but i applaud the hull faithful for turning out in such horrible conditions on a friday night, just under 14,000 there tonight, hat donned!
