| Good luck Wire fans. I thought I would want the Giants to win and I certainly think they are more deserving, but I can't help but hope you win. I can't imagine how painful it would be to wait a lifetime for the big day out and then lose it. It's not nice even when you have won plenty.
I've seen Saints win god knows how many major trophies but it will be refreshing to see it actually mean something to a town, the buzz it would create would be good to see.
And who knows, if you can win at Wembley, maybe, just maybe, you can really cast the demons aside and win against us.

You had a humour bypass or something? I said I hope you win and you find that offensive?

Really? That old chestnut? Hudds have played some really strategic, disciplined and at times open, attractive Rugby this year. That little run-a-round/inside ball combo in the semi final was poetry in motion.

To be honest as much as they have improved they have benefited more than anything from the RFL's decisions to have an unpoliced play the ball this season. They can put 4 men in the tackle and take two minutes to get up without any fear of being penalised.
Their attacking has impressed me more than their defending this season. Their 'd' is broken completely open by a strong referee and there are enough chinks for Briers' to exploit with kicks.

From what I've seen, it's just dominant, NRL-esque ruck defence, nothing illegal, it's just that in this country, we are obsessed with 3 second play the balls and dummy half scoots, as opposed to actual creative halfback play and strategic attacking structures. Some people don't like having to wait a couple of extra seconds for the play the ball, but those people are often sycophant bandwagon jumpers who love a good moan; the sort who bemoans the choice of referee [ievery[/i week, despite it being a different referee.

Exactly how are they 'more deserving'? Remember the money they got from the Shuddersfield Eagles 'merger'? Or what about several years not being relegated from SL as teams below did not have 'good enough facilities'?
I'm pleased we have your support but I don't understand that piece of thinking.
