I meant to post this when it happened but i forgot.....I was having a drink in wilkies a few weeks ago... think it was a friday night game and Leeds v cas were on sky... there was this big blonde haired guy sat near us... he was talking about all things warrington all night... all subjects came up... wembley, smith, moran, morley, wingers, how the game has changed... anyway at the end of the night we were all pretty drunk when his mrs piped up 'come on tex.. time to go'.



It was only Tex Evans...... high profile celebrity and a massive wire to boot.

From memory i think Tex Evans played amatuer RL at Crosfields then moved to Swinton and then onto Salford, he was a big powerful winger with blonde hair.

i know tex, hes an orford lad, used to live at the back of my mum in chiltern rd, used to go in poplars pub nearly evrynight, top bloke was tex., used to knock about with his younger brother eddie.

i cant find any of him...well i can find 1... bottom row.. third from the right.
