2nd point. I think you'll find a fair few contributers to the Turkey forum ARE avid Utd fans who DO go to pretty much, if not every game including away days in the Champions League. Those that are old enough will almost certainly have gone to games in days out of the top flight.

An estimated 7 fans kicked off at Barnsley. They have 75000 at every home game and millions around the world. Hardly fair to tar them all with the same brush. (Not to mention the 7 or so plastic bottle throwers that confronted the Salford fans a couple of years back up at your place. Not getting at Fax fans in general, but as I'm sure you can appreciate, morons get everywhere.)

As for the question of loyalty, the aforementioned characters are also Salford fans. Enough said!

Serious point here it is very unusual that both win on the same weekend when they are both in the top division, when utd drop points salford most of the time cum up with the goods, i always thought it was very weird.



Salford very rairly get smashed, victory in the past is usually given away by lack of quality and contol at important parts of a match, utd have thay ability to embrace the pressure and take the chance when it comes, its more of a mental thing imo

This is something I've discussed with many Salford/Utd supporting mates.



I have also discussed it with several Wigan RL/Bolton Wanderers fans, but the other way around.



Unfortunately I'm a Bolton/Salford fan - I get the worst of both worlds.

On his day Penky is the best hooker in the Championship. Suffered last year due to being picked at stand off. He is a flair/off the cuff player and when it works it really works....when it dosent he looks poor. Never let's anyone down in defence. His kicking game is poor though. Be sorry to see him go if he does sign, but in Beswick and Gleeson we have more than adiquate cover.
