I think lee jewitt will have a big season for us next season no matter who else comes in, injuries permitting. I feel luke adamson has gone backwards a little, whether that is to do with injuries or that like steff he had a good season last year and we all just expected them to get even better.

You may have but depending on which paper you read that in, it doesn't make it true.

I think all three young players mentioned have a very good chance of making the 17. With the team looking stronger for next year It will probably help them rather than hinder them.



I feel Steph has to take the opposition's line on a lot more and be prepared to take a few hits in the process if he's going to improve his game. I think Lee Jewitt is a tough forward with great potential but he needs to work really hard on his strength, speed and footwork to make more ground with the ball (5.5 Mtr drives for an interchange prop in Superleague is well below average). I'd agree that Adamson seems to have gone backwards this year and wouldn't be surprised if he's been playing this year with some kind of niggling injury.

Neal has signed for us on a permanent deal.

Palfrey is leaving next year, with Swinton or Blackpool as most likely destination.

I'd be happy with Neal on a permanent deal, although I'd like to see Palfrey get a chance in the first team more often I doubt its going to happen so its pointless keeping him, good luck to him if he goes though.

If it's true that he's going and Blackpool/Swinton are his likely destinations you can see why he hasn't been given regular first team opportunities at SL level.

He was out at the beginning of the season with a bad case of the flu (I know it sounds lame) but he lost a lot of weight and strength. It's taken him a while to build back up but I think he's getting back to the form he had last year.



I like the comment about "a future captain" as I think's he's one of the best players we'd had for a while

What's the story behind Bentley? Is this just a rumour or is he on the verge of signing?



I'd like to see this capture happen as he'd fit in nicely with the other new players
