he did an alright job,nothing spectacular...got that kiwi offside call wrong but it was a close one,defo not offside but close,nearly level...did the linesmen give it too?...





i thought hollywood bill's performance as video ref was absolutely shocking though...the decoy play is now officially dead

that decoy penalty was a disgrace

My only real critisism of the refereeing were the 3 penalties for "high tackles". That was soft as hell. None should've been awarded, it's a Test for god's sake.

a head shot is a head shot no matter what level of game it is.....

Because Ganson is useless.

a high tackle is still a high tackle though

I saw all 3 as borderline high. All looked to make first contact around the shoulder/collar area, and at worst slipping up to the neck. I don't want to see those tackles penalised at any professional level and certainly not at Test level. It's all very precious. None were legitimate high tackles in my opinion.

exactly they where boardline so just a penalty was enough...
