They sound similar to an organisation that scammed money from the "donating" companies too. They would ring up asking for a purchase order number saying the artwork for your entry in the wallplanner/directory just needs confirming, and thanks for helping the kids. Obviously in the hope that whoever dealt with the call would assume someone else in the organisation had agreed to it and since it was for charity it must be ok right?



They nearly got me with that one as I'd just joined a small company and assumed that the previous incumbant has agreed to it. After a while I got another call, same thing, except this time I knew I would have been the person to authorise it and I hadn't. So I never paid the invoice for the first one which was £350+vat.



I guess that's how you get to earn £170K per year.

I dont think this will affect crusaders at all but could affect other clubs because the rfl would probably throw even more money at them in order to keep them afloat as a counterbalance

By the way, it is common knowledge that the RFL don't have any money to give Crusaders.....because they have been giving us £1,000,000,000,000 every week since 1980 to prop up London RL. They raised these funds by closing the pits, closing hospitals and selling cheap drugs to kids on street corners.

If the RFL had any big money to give to Crusaders wouldn't they have used it to keep us in South Wales where the majority of the emerging youth were playing?
