I seriously believe the time has come for RL to adopt the football ruling of any raised hands (in a punching/striking motion) results in an automatic red card and a 3 game ban. None of this hiding behind the "On Report" cop-out.

Anyone who thought he would be banned is insane and should get to the Docs for an evaluation straight away. It'll probably just be a bad case of viral jealousy but it could be something worse.

I think you'll find I wasn't the only one. I didn't personally attack Stosic at all either, I just suggested that he must have biscuit bones if that impact broke his eye socket, which incidently it didn't. It didn't break his eye socket or anything else for that matter, so in reality I was right and it was just a nothing incident blown out of all proportion by a lot of fawning and jealous supporters of other clubs.



Pitiful defence of Cunningham. Get real. It was a petulant act worthy of a penalty and absolutely nothing more. We see worse things happen every game and a couple of the high shots from Wakey at the weekend were much worse. But hey, who cares?

Well done the RFL for seeing as it as it was...nothing.



If anything, Stosic should be banned for rolling around as though he has been shot. We dont need that kind of play acting in rugby league

Then he milks the situation........he would be better of playing Footall where this behaviour is more tolerated.

Its good that the RFL saw it as very minor offence and nothing else.

The injury sustained should have no bearing on the RFL decision, at the end of the day it was an unprovoked cheap shot & he should have got at least 2 matches.

Agreed, any decision should be based on intent not how bad an injury was sustained. That said Cunninghams action were intentional (striking) - 2 matches for mine.

Open season for accidental punches on Cunningham while in the tackle, methinks!! Yeah, right!! Just watch the moaning start once a Saints player gets his shirt dirty!!
