| Have we seen the last of 3,000+ attendances in the Championship now we've lost Widnes and not gained anybody in exchange ?
And yet a few years ago we had several 4/5 even up to 6,000 attendances at some games
So come on Nigel and Richard , what ' gimmick ' do we get next to make the Championships vibrant and worth winning ?

Rather then expect clubs that come down to bridge the gap in attendances why don't your OWN club go out an attract some decent crowds. Why should it be the RFL that have to have a vested interest in the complete in's and out's of your club. As a club it's massively in your own interest to market the product you are going to serve up. Don't blame the governing body for an issue that your own club can look into and make strides in.

According to league express the answer is going to be a comp at the end of may between four clubs from the champ and four clubs from the french league.

The thing is Easty , who do we have to play ? , I can see Fax's support taking a hit after yesterday , Barrows are already dropping and Fev are struggling to bring in more than 1,500 even though they are top of the league
At this moment we have 9 clubs in The Championship for next season , that's 8 home league games , that'll pay the bills

I agree Easty, it needs to be the clubs that drag the crowds in! On the flip side i would interested to see the attendances KR were getting week in week out when you were not in Super Duper League (not too long ago) compared to now??

Talk about I’m alright Jack!
Are the RFL the sole property of SL clubs?
Do you think the crowds would flock to HKR knowing there was no chance of playing at the highest level, for at least three years?

That was a particularly good year though , we had us , you , Fax and Widnes all playing reasonably well with SL as the prize
Look back at the earlier ones , 2002 with Huddersfield just managing 2,000 at theirs

Not at all. I'm trying to make the point that it's not just simply down to the RFL to make a product work. The clubs themselves have to hold a certain amount of responsibility.

Forgive the RFL for wanting the better performing clubs in the top league.
There are way too many people in the lower leagues that expect someone to do something for them instead of doing it themselves. Even this thread is about a different club pulling up the attendance average, and now the big bad RFL have taken them away to the top.
