Didn't see Offiah tonight but it must have been a special kind of bad to be worse than it usually is!

How is that 'verbal diarrhoea'? It's competent technical analysis, something that more fans should pay attention to since the majority don't have a clue about the sport.

I'm sorry but "he made a silly play there" and "jumping up stream" along with "they targeted him in this set" isn't competent technical analysis

Wells does a far better job and before that, Rae blew Cullen out of the water.



Not to mention most of the time he finds fault where there isn't any, a brilliant bit of attacking play will be disregarded and it will be "the C defenders" fault for "highlighting" the wrong player, he uses buzzwords to sound smart.

Introduction question followed by Offah looking scared to death then followed by deep intake of breath and "um er <pause, looks down at notes> sorry um they um, y'know" pauses between words more ums and ers!



Got marginally better from there but not much.

he certainly does seem to be able to point out how every try has been scored along with the whys and wherefores of all other aspects of the game, which begs the question........why is the team he coaches so $hite???

Because he's a poor coach. Maybe it should be a wake-up call for fans who think that a coach's job is just to shout at the players and tell them to do well.

... but at least he doesn't speak in a northern accent, which according to some folk on this board is a prerequisite for disaster.
