Its one thing to be a good player over here in SL but there is no hiding place in the NRL for mediocre players. Look at the likes of Thorman, Tansey and Ellis.



I've always had a soft spot for Souths but even though the NRL has to help developing nations by encouraging clubs to sign o/s players I really wish he had gone somewhere else other than the Bunnies





My thoughts are he will struggle in the big time.

Certain players need a bit of encouragement in their careers. Tim sheens is no mug. He knows how hard he had to coach Ellis on his arrival....even to do the basics.





Players from developing nations need that little extra at times....its like the dyslexic kid at school who wins an award for spelling.....its sort of an encouragement thing.





And the same applies to Ellis. Sometimes you have to encourage them just that little bit more.
