That's positive considering someone said the offer had been withdrawn.

| Addy and Donaldson are both very different loose-forwards that add different attributes to our team. Addy is good in attack, but poor in defence. Donaldson is the opposite. I would like to see both re-signed.
I too am liking the look of the front row for next season. Scruton and Carvell starting, with Manuokafoa and Sidlow on the bench. Even better if Kaufusi signs.

A little harsh for me. Poor isn't the word for either. Donno is the best defender we have without much question but plays like a second rower rather than a loose forward. I always feel he runs too centrally. Don't forget that he hasn't had a preseason this season.
Addy's real strength lies in his versatility but his best position is far and away Loose Forward but is way less consistent playing in the halves. If Donno played in the Whitehead position in attack (essentially running at Centres) and Addy had a little bit more to say in the middle I think, with Olbison, we'd have a cracking home grown back row.
It's just a shame that we haven't got both signed up.

| Evans will spend another year on loan at Bradford.
How is he looking now he's got a few games under his belt?

Steady if not spectacular TBF. He won't get as much game time next year as he'll be fifth prop in pecking order although injuries will mean he does get games at some point.

I thought Sidlow may fit into that role, seems to have a bit of pace for a prop.

| Hmm, I'm not sure I like the thought of Evans defending further out wide. Defense is not his strong point at this stage in his career.

| He's not as agile as you'd like a backrower to be but he certainly hits hard.
He's improved with gametime and will benefit from a proper pre season. I'm happy that we're keeping him a bit longer.

| For a guy who isn't the biggest prop around he's got a fair bit of 'bump', but maybe second row may suit him better.
At the end of the day, if he's been pumping iron to gain weight for propping he's not going to be at his most agile and with a slight change of emphasis in his training regime he may well become more agile and gain some speed too. I may be being over optimistic but I've never been a big fan of having 'tunnel vision' with regard to what is the best position for a young player.
