I'm wondering how there can be confusion between 2 clubs as to whether or not they agreed to play a friendly; or given that somehow there was confusion, why there hasn't been a 2 minute phone call to sort it out so the fans of both clubs know the situation. How hard can it be?

means they are keeping their options open, but it looks unlikely rather than likely. Wouldn't surprise me if the Cougars, given both the development of the squad over last season and the very experienced new recruits for the new season, want a bit more of an opposition than last time which is proving a bit difficult for meet. And the poster who said it could be a difficult choice between the travel to Hull and Keighley is right.

i think it would be slightly disrespectful of the club to do it to Lee Radford's testimonial too.

yes, at Hull we are more likely to get an insight into how the 1st team are jelling rather than the U20's/Academy, tho personally for me Settle to Keighley is a lot better than to Hull

Maybe if it does end up on the Sunday (something to do with football commitments wasn't it?) then perhaps they'll shove in a game with Keighley on the Friday?

I think it depends on whether Hull City have a game and possible TV requirements etc. Much as I'd like a game at Keighley, to be fair we seem to have enough already arranged.
