Hmm. Our return train tickets to London, down Friday and back Saturday afternoon now seem less useful. The day off work Friday can be cancelled. The nights stay in the travellodge on Friday night near Twickenham also seem less useful.

It sucks, but it sounds like they're having serious problems with that pitch. If they moved it to another date later in the season rather than shift it by a day they'd still be screwing everyone who'd already made arrangements.

It is a fair point. Leave the fixture scheduled for Friday and it will probably be called off screwing everyone who has arranged to go. Call it off now and re-arrange for day after gives a chance to re-arrange plans and avoid a fixture pile up later which would still screw Fridays arrangements already made
