For me it's the coach. As i've put on the other thread we've got some good players who have all played SL, that just aren't playing well. Individually and as a team. Buck stops with Lowes. If we can get the likes of Pitts, Olbison, O'brien, Gaskell and Ferguson all playing well, we'll come good. That was a nucleus of a team that beat Leeds Wigan and Hull in a row. For me i would go with Morrison as head coach and maybe Noble as director of rugby. I don't think we're in a position to see how things go and if we don't make it make changes for next year. Under this system it's now or never.

One has to think if we had appointed John Kear over James Lowes, would we be in this sorry mess?

Brian Noble's interview after the game made interesting listening, especially the line >> "Communication is key to getting the best from your players. If you can't communicate with them, you can't engage with them."



If Lowes hasn't the basic communication skill set to actually communicate his message to the players then the situation is more perilous than we thought.
