I heard a rumour last night that Nick Scruton is going back to Leeds and we are getting Luke Burgess as a replacement. Can anyone confirm or deny the rumour?

Well I can understand why Leeds would be happy with that deal, but what's in it for Bradford except decreasing the quality of our Props?

I also understand that we are swapping Sykes for Maguire and Crossley for Peacock.

Strange. It is not really that long ago that a few on here were clamouring for us to go out and get Luke Burgess. And my word was I not condemned for suggesting that the only reason Bradford fans rated him was because of his surname rather than his ability.

Yep, you also once said that Fui Fui Moi Moi was average and people had only heard of him because of his odd name.



I rate Burgess as a slightly above average SL Prop, whereas I rate Scruton as a possible future England Prop.

Fui Fui Moi Moi IS average. He was another that started an annual RAB chugfest. Not entirely sure why.



Although quite a brave prediction rating him as a future England prop when has is already a full international...

For someone who regularly confesses to not watching NRL and seemingly having little knowledge of the competition, what do you base your opinion on? He might be over rated by some but average? Give over.

All a matter of opinion. Decidedly average IMO and totally overhyped. However, as Bettabuys points out in the post following yours, he would apparently "walk into our side". Maybe he would if we were willing to pay over the odds and waste a quota spot on someone that is not worth it.
