It was a damp squib last year because the choice was between Wigan and Catalans. You didn't have to be Einstein to work out which one was going to be picked.
This time, if it's a choice of Wigan or Warrington, then there are so many factors that come into the equation that it makes it exciting for everyone involved |

This is the problem, however. The smash 'em bit, I mean. When they last came to Knowsley Road, smashing 'em was so far from what we did as to be at a Knowsley Road in an as yet undiscovered dimension. I'd hate for that to be our last match.
But then again, I'd also hate the hoodoo to go in that match as well.
Having said all that, assuming Wire and Wigan win, either would be a belting match to watch, heart tablets, booze, drug of your choice, all available readily to prop up the nervous agitation! |

I think we should. Let Big Mac know that not losing to Warrington is far more important than losing to Wigan.
If we pick the Goons I can draw a line under 'the record' and I'll always have it to throw in the faces of the many Wire fans around here. It can never be changed or go away. Lose the last ever game to them (And being realistic we will evenutally have a mare against them) and it's all worthless.
It HAS to be Wigan. A chance to reverse the injustice of the last derby at KR and hope that Leeds turn the Wire over.
