| Quote Offside Monkey="Offside Monkey"I do long for a Saints - Wire final.
Just imagine - Wembley, packed to the rafters, 70 mins gone and Wire are leading 32-20, the wolfs fans are going crazy, at last they've beaten the curse, then up steps Kevin Penny, two converted tries to saints later and Longy's popping over a drop goal from 30m out.
Priceless...'"

No, because the eventuality of a defeat in that scenario vastly outweighs the potential benefits of a glory we've already experienced.
Although it's not good for the neutrals I'd much prefer a stroll down to Wembley knowing we'd need an eclipse or an alien invasion to prevent a victory.

| Wire defeating us in a cup final would make up for every single defeat they have suffered at our hands over the last 10 years

| I can vouch for that.....Briers popping the winning drop goal with seconds to go against Saints in the final would be the sweetest victory ever....
Anyway, before that a victory in the league against you guys would be good first

The RFL are so full of BS its unbelievable. We have a closed draw that just so happens to suggest that only 1 lower league side will make the QF. We are certain to see 6 SL sides and probably Salford so 7 and then in turn 4 SL sides in the SF.
A total fix up (again).
Saints v Huddersfield or Warrington at Wembley for me.
