They've got Ratchford, Myler and O'Brien, so they're alright for halves. We need to get an offer in

| Quote MickeyMo="MickeyMo"I wasn't impressed with the tackle that ended TP's night. He was stood up in the tackle and the third man came in around the knees while the legs were planted. That's the way it looked through the snow anyway. Any news on him?'"
Just about to mention that.
Worse than i high shot for me. Total sh*thouse tackle and completely uncalled for! Tony was tackled, going nowhere and in comes the 3rd man to target the knees. Disgusting!

Sneyds probably been moved to Full back for a reason, just like Lomax for Saints.

It might be because they have Fages and Foran in the halves and no real fullback. They've been rumoured to be signing a fullback for a few weeks now, but nothing's come of it yet.

| Sounded like a good game. Under the conditions it sounded like both teams were still going for it. Considering our (Salford) team is pretty much cobbled together at the moment I was happy with the level of commitment and belief they showed. Can't fault a team when they put in 100%. We were expecting a much bigger drubbing so will take a much needed boost of morale from that showing.

| I'm made up with the result to be honest!
Sneyd is quality and I think he may have found his new position at fullback, seems to be the trend these days with the likes of Tomkins and Lomax making the same move. We need to get him signed up on a long term deal.

| Points in conditions like that are a bonus. Anything could have happened.
To be fair, both sides handled it well. Salfors's kicking game in the second of especially, was excellent and there was a surprisingly low error count for both sides.
I thought our back 3 played very well. What a hit by Ade!!
I thought we looked a lot better with aspeakman on rather than Ashe. The service was much slicker.
Nice to see Joßh Jones remind us of what he can do going forward - a couple of nice runs 2nd half, one to set up the winning try.
Good hard working performance all round from the forwards, including another impressive defensive stint from Manu.

| I agree offside. I'm quick to criticise some of our backs so feel I should give them their dues for last night. Both our tries came from excellent centre play. The dart and flick pass from Turner was quality and Josh Jones won the game for us with his run down the left to put Meli in.

Was it true that Gleeson saw a pitch covered in white powder and thought he'd gone to heaven?

| Really good win as those conditions make the game a lottery. It was extremely cold, windy and the snow just didn't stop. Full credit to all the players, fans, officials, stewards, ball boys etc as that wasn't fun last night.
We got the 2 points, let's move on and hopefully we'll see better conditions at Wigan next week.

To be fair to salfordas well, they weren't shy about getting the ball wide.
