| IA,has it on one.The dross in that corner have a disproportionate effect on the perception that visiting fans have of HULL and HULL FC.They have been allowed to be there for some seasons with no apparent effective counteraction from either stadium or club.
THEY generate comment that POTENTIAL visiting fans hear about and as a result choose NOT to go through YOUR turnstiles. If the moral(LOL) highground is more important than resolving a problem and proving that HULL and HULL FC is a place worth visiting then by all means DONT make changes, keep pointing the finger at visiting fans and other grounds.BUT please realise that compounds peoples image of HULL and HULL FC.
If you prefer to take this as a anti hull rant then clearly you havent read any other PRO active HULL comments i have made.

| Loz, thing is I haven't been going to Leeds games as much lately but Leeds have inherited alot more 'tts' in the last few seasons.
People are quick on here to say how they want people banned, but I can recall a fair few actions that could have got yourself banned over the years. If super league clubs were as quick banning people from watching rugby league as some of the users on here would like, then you would have at least got a warning from a fair few super league clubs over the years.
Once at hull a fair few years ago, a handful of people on here once saw you attempt to get close to that corner and then give them the V sign (when there was sufficient segregation in the form of stewards/police). If the club had seen that, and had banned you for a decade for going to any rugby league game, you would have been gutted. People do make mistakes and try and 'blend in the crowd', and I think you are/were guilty of that.
As people have said on the thread, take the barrier away and most people will be behave fine then you can just ban and kick the minority out that don't adhere to the rules.
Stick the Hull 'fans' in the other corner at the KC, as I suspect then others individuals won't try and impress there mates and then if they don't enjoy coming to rugby because they can't goad anyone, well they will be gone then in no time.

| Hull need to make the closest 2/3 blocks to the away end reserved - to be honest I can't believe they've not done it already! It's been the same since we moved to the KC, and I find it quite embarrassing.

No, he hasn't missed the point. You have. In fact that is the point of the entire thread. Avoid the problem or do something about it? Simple question.

| For what its worth, I agree entirely with those who suggest that our chav element should be moved away from the away fans. Although I'm not sure how you achieve that, give them a chav badge of some sort?
However some of the responses on here are way over the top. Lets not forget that the problems were indeed started not by a Hull fan, but by a Leeds fan who threw (and yes, I did see it) a bottle at one of our players - for which I believe he was rightfully ejected from the ground. That proceeded to idiots from our club throwing empty bottles into the Leeds supporters and two bottles (that I saw) been thrown back at Hull fans. There were apparently the odd scuffle outside the ground as well between the two sets of fans. So, in a nutshell a bunch of numskulls from Hull and Leeds decided to play the big I am act - visit any town in the country after 8pm for further case studies.
The entire trouble probably actively involved less than a couple of dozen people from either side who had most likely had to much beer in them. There has been countless incidents in the past on par with these, including this season.
So, I agree, we need to do something about chav corner. If Hull FC get a fine for inadequate stewarding, then so be it. We need to get rid of our minority of problem fans. We need to reconise that Hull FC are still the most pro-active club in the league at dealing with crowd problems and have been since the days of the fan charter, some people need to stop using blanket language and statement and keep things in perspective. Generalism against Hull FC fans is just another form of prejudice.
Lets get on with the rugby, I love coming to Leeds, I've seen trouble there in the past, but its a great place to come were I wouldn't hesitate to bring family to sample the atmosphere of match day.

That is the problem here and at the moment Hull FC is the only club in SL that currently has that problem and they should sort it out!'"
How? And have a think about your answer before replying.
How do you label a bunch of people and move them?

Firstly, why not visit the Hull FC and see the pro-active measures for your self and then try and find the same ones at other clubs.
Secondly, same question to you as the other guy or girl. How?
Firstly, what consitutes been a trouble causer? Chanting horrible chants at opposition fans? Because there is a lot of Leeds fans chanting you are "the scum of rugby league" that should probably be moved on mass as well in that case.

Are you sure you saw it?
The reason I ask is because it was a glass, not a bottle which I know is still uncalled for and something I dont want associating with leeds, BUT make sure that you get it right if you reckon you saw it.

I was in the middle of the east stand, I assumed it was a bottle. OK, lets term it "missle" if we are going to be predantic. I was also trying to watch the game at the time rather than those pillocks.
Its widely reported anyway, so I'm not entirely sure why it matters what the object was. The fact it was the first object thrown and it shouldn't have been thrown in the first place.
