| Quote Inflatable_Armadillo="Inflatable_Armadillo"You are a professional firm of administrators, so keep your professional integrity and say only what you need to say. The only people that said he didn't attend a meeting where O'Hara's in a press report in the Yorkshire Post, that may be true and it may not, but why tell the press?'"
You seem to be coming at this from the point of view of the club - O'Hara's are there to protect the creditors, so they have every right to go to press. If I were a creditor I would want to know the risk profile of my money.
As you said they are keeping their professional integrity by keeping all stakeholders in the loop?
In all reality would you buy this club now - it has zero chance of getting a franchise, its best players have all departed, they have no ground and the youth/coaching structure looks desimated?

true, one of the lads who plays for me is dales cousin and he mentioned it loads of times during last deason, it just never materialised. to be honest i'd rather have a 40 year old barrie mac than ian kirke at least he'd run his weight and add a bit of bite in defence.

Looks like the reports that they'd all been given their P45s were a little OTT this morning ....
However, it doesn't say that for the game in Perpignan at the weekend, that the team all set off for Dover by bicycle at 7am this morning and by all accounts, have already reached Newark On Trent !

O'Hara's have also gone to the press to state that the Millard deal has not yet gone through, would it have been professional to stay silent on that as well?

I would imagine the phrase... "not thought to be in any doubt" doesn't exactly fill Wakey fans with confidence for the rest of the season though. Should it be in doubt?! Was there a chance we weren't going?! How long have we got left?!
It's like the phrase... "probably not going to hurt". Then why did you mention then eh?! Eh!?

Why - what possible benefit to the creditors would be gained from that?
Had the deal been done when O'hara's said it hadn't - if so then you could question their integrity/competence - I suspect O'hara's would be telling the truth

I'm sure O'Hara's have been telling the truth throughout, my post was in response to earlier dialogue with Inflatable A who questioned the Administrator's professionalism in their dealings with the media.

On a bike I think I'd perhaps opt for the A17 to King's Lynn and head down the A10. Pretty scenic and would allow you to take in RAF Marham, Mildenhall and Lakenheath (if you fancy a detour) and catch up with some modern military hardware to contrast to the museum pieces.
This epic journey reminds me of a line from 'Another Bloody Sunday' when the visiting Featherstone team got off the coach and walked up to Tattersfield to be met by the Doncaster official asking 'won't your lads be tired.'
