Don't really think they go stand in a corner of Kirstall and have a 1 to 1 every day. If I were a young hooker though i'd like to learn off Buderus, the talents got to be there to be nurtured though, so when Mcshane does not make it I fully expect Buderus to take the blame.

You'd have to be pretty naive to think that McShane hasn't learnt from Buderus. That wasn't the reason Leeds signed him, but it was a handy little aside that during McShane's development he'd be working alongside one of the best hookers of modern times. Buderus himself has been quoted as saying he's enjoying passing on hints to McShane during his time at Leeds. I'm pretty sure he's not holding his hand and tying his shoelaces during every training session though

Lets be honest too, at FC with Berro injured for 8 weeks i'm pretty sure McShane and Danny Houghton will both receive more 121 tuition from Berro to keep him busy. Will be a great opportunity for McShane to learn from Berro like he has Buderus. Not a bad couple of hooking role models.

There's probably only Tiger Woods who's had a one to one with two better hookers.

But why is Mcshane beingshipped out to Hull rather than learning from the master?

The under 20s comp is pretty low skill. He's going to pick far far more up playing SL. No matter how much tuition someone gets in training its never the same as putting it into practise on the pitch at a higher standard.

So why did Leeds bring Buderus over then?

Same reason that FC brough Berro over. They are both world class international hookers and neither team have seen the best of them on the pitch.
