| Good luck to the lad. A decent player but rightly down the pecking order here. I hope it works for him at Hull.

| So far he's been an ok solid back up player and nothing else
I can't think of a single big hit or break he's made during his time with Leeds that stands out in my mind
He may turn out to be the next JP who knows but at the moment I'm not concerned by the club letting him go

| Can't say I'm all that bother about him leaving. With the comment he's made
Quote Leeds is a massive club but Hull FC feels just as big if not bigger.'" :2vm6ctlz
he clearly wasnt a team player then. Just means Singleton gets a step up the ladder. All the best to Jay but we'll move onPitts told the club website: "Leeds is a massive club but Hull FC feels just as big if not bigger.'"

apparently not. they seem to think they have poached one of the best young forwards in the British game from under our noses, and he has gone because they are the biggest club in the game.

| Quote SmokeyTA="SmokeyTA"If you cant make an impression on the first team at the age of 22, you probably arent going to tear the competition up. Pitts has had three years and not made any real impression, disappointed he hasnt fulfilled his potential here but I dont think he was ever going to.
Might go to Hull and make a career out of the game, but I doubt he will ever reach international standard.'"
Agree that it's uncommon, but not unheard of. Your current front row talisman is a superb example of a late bloomer.

Lots of things finished in Hull in the 70's. Time, for one.
People in Hull think Life on Mars was a Panorama special on the modern police force.

Exception that proves the rule really.
JP is pretty famous for being a late bloomer, which shows how rare it is.
JP was also playing for England in the 2000 world cup at 22, Pitts, even at best is miles away from England contention.
I think he will probably go on to have a decent career, and good luck to the lad and Hull for going for a young british player, but i just dont think he will get close to international level.

| The new Ewan Dowes.
Good luck to the lad, no great loss.
It would have been good to get a fee but as has been said maybe it's payoff for young Briscoe.

Agree it's rare, I was just pointing out that it can and does happen. From our point of view we'll be hoping this is one of those cases. In all honesty so long as he becomes a good club player is fine, not every player needs to be of international class to have a very good side, which we'll hopefully build to over the next few seasons.
