The ball was knocked forward accidentally and played another man before the ball hit the floor. Had the man who knocked it forward regathered it would have been play on.
It was not a forward pass because it was not an intentional pass by the player it hit first. |

I can't believe some people are claiming it went backwards. The ball clearly went forward. Watch the trajectory of the ball, it clearly went forward.

It was recieved by a Leeds player like a pass would have been. Smith could have pulled it up for a forward pass, Alibert could not. |
